Huge Fitness Center with the latest state-of-the-art equipment. Enjoy your workout on Cybex machines, run on Woodway and train on Power Plate. There are enough endurance possibilities for everybody, you also get free weights and a place to do your stretching. Join classes, such as Yoga, Pilates, Thai-Chi, Line Dancing or specialties such as Arthritis classes etc. Personal training available. Two swimming pools each of them offering lap swimming. There are water gym classes for beginners or advanced and you also get a huge Jacuzzi at one of the pools and a smaller one at the other. Ask for water volleyball hours! You can use the steam bath or the sauna, whenever you feel like it. Tennis courts, shuffle board, lawn bowling, basketball, pickleball, water volleyball. You are not the active type. There is much more, such as card room, pool room, club room or you can join one of the many craft workshops such as: photography, computer classes, jewelry, pottery, painting, sewing, knitting, dancing, wood crafting, you name it they offer it. Computer room with internet access (should you not bring your own computer).Big library with all the books you always wanted to read and a lot of magazines and newspapers. They show movies on a regular basis and there is Bingo, various events and trips, just book, relax and enjoy. There is a bank and a post office on-site and should you have questions, there is always somebody at reception who would like to help. There is
also a medical facility in Leisure World: Dr. Allen Medicine. They have several
branches in the valley. Leisure World residents can see a doctor from Monday
through Friday.
